Over the course of the Taste Cumbria weekend we’ll be serving coffees from our Espresso Bar. Here you’ll be able to enjoy your favourite espresso based drinks from the cappuccino to the flat white, and the latte to the piccolo.
Joining us on the espresso bar will be guest baristas from our wholesale customers. Some of them will be bringing along their own signature drink which they’ve created especially for the event. The full line-up for the weekend is:
Saturday
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. | Staff from Oxley’s at Underscar will be running the bar with us and rumour has it Nathan will be bringing along his signature drink |
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Kaylee and Carol, from the Purple Cherry Coffee Shop in Workington, will be on the bar with us serving their Affogato |
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. | The team from Cockermouth’s very own Tea & Tranquility will be joining us – we’ll be serving our Nyawira AA as a single origin espresso so expect the drinks to have fruity notes |
3 p.m. to 5 p.m. | Closing the day with us in style will be Lizzie from The Ice Cream Parlour at Seascale |
Sunday
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. | Staff from Café West will be joining us to start the day and we hope they might bring along some of their homemade biscuits! |
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Kaylee and Carol, from the Purple Cherry Coffee Shop join us again so if you enjoyed the Affogato on Saturday you can try it again! |
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. | During the afternoon we’ll be in the company of Lisa and Toni Leigh from Woodstone Pizza and Flame Grill in Keswick |
3 p.m. to 5 p.m. | Angharad and Gareth will be bringing the weekend to a close with another single origin espresso – but you’ll just have to wait to see which one! |
With so much great coffee on offer there are plenty of reasons to visit us at Taste Cumbria. We won’t even charge you for a drink – all we ask is that you consider donating some money towards our chosen charity, Eden Valley Hospice.
We look forward to serving you at the weekend!
I really enjoyed hearing all about you in the talk and having a coffee in your lovely pop up-did I hear that you made the tables yourself?! You must be exhausted after the week end. I am doing a shortish article for the foodlink website and I will let you know when it is posted. In the meantime can I have your email in case of queries that I can’t fit into a twitter DMV
Kind regards
